Meet Sarah
I'm Sarah, an integrative adult counsellor and therapist. I created Space to Change Counselling to offer clients a safe, non-judgemental space to talk through historic or current mental health challenges, to grow out of old habits and into new ones and to make positive changes in their lives.
I love my work and will be forever grateful that my curiosity about why we feel and how we think led me on my own healing journey. Now, I have the privilege of being alongside others in theirs.
Like a lotus flower, Space To Change Counselling offers a way back to mental clarity and inner peace.
My experience & training
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.
I hold a professional qualification in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling which offers a blending of counselling approaches holding each client's particular challenges and goals in mind.
This flexible approach allows me to draw from a range of therapeutic models including; Person-centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) plus additional areas I have built through training and experience such as trauma-informed practice, Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), Transactional Analysis (TA) and Attachment Theory.
In addition to my integrative training I am a qualified Person-Centered Experiential Counselling for Depression therapist for NHS Talking Therapies Herts Mind Network. I hold a professional therapeutic qualification to work as a trauma-informed counsellor and offer trauma informed skills.
Alongside my counselling work, I am a perinatal outreach worker for Mind Barnet and Enfield and work within the community identifying needs of young families and signposting to support.

"I’m so grateful I took the leap to begin therapy. It’s made such a meaningful difference in my life. I truly can’t recommend Sarah enough — if you’ve ever considered therapy, this is your sign to go."
